Maturing at boys "has looked younger"

For a long time it is known that at girls the puberty period comes earlier, than at boys. As experts from Max Planck's Institute have found out, adolescent the period at boys for last 200 years also has looked younger, — is informed in the report of scientists published in magazine PLoS ONE.
To investigate dynamics of puberty at boys, the group of scientists under the direction of demographer Joshua Goldshtejna has used indirect signs maturity. So, it agree before the received information, the end of the period of puberty is marked by sharp jump in blood of level of a hormone of courage – testosterone. Surplus of testosterone in blood does men more brave and reckless that, in turn, affects a death rate indicator.
Scientists have analysed the data on Danes, British, Italians and Swedes since 1751 year on present, and have received following results. On the average adolescent the period of boys "looked younger" for 2,5 months each 10 years. It has turned out that if at the time of Johann Sebastian Bach (XVIIIŠ²) boys could sing in children's chorus up to 18 years now the voice at young gentlemen starts to break already in 13.
