Cigarettes are more harmful to women, than for men

The professor Elena Tremoli from Milan university has found out that for the woman harm which it puts herself, having smoked one cigarette, is equivalent to that the man feels after five cigarettes, — transfers Corriere della Sera, referring to the researcher.

The conclusions about extreme sensitivity of a female organism to nicotine professor Tremoli has made, having studied statistics on cardiovascular diseases and death rate of inhabitants of five European countries.
One of the reasons which sees other researcher of fatal influence of smoking on health professor Roberto of Ferrari, is "masculinization" of women. So, in such developed countries as France, Italy, Finland, the Netherlands and Sweden, women are more and more inclined to live how there lives a man's half of population. In particular, less to move, many to smoke, be nervous, suffer from a gluttony. As a result, cardiovascular diseases which were "privilege" 55-60-year men earlier, meet now at women is more often. And after all, say, the footwear catalogue, can bring to the woman much more pleasure, than smoking and passivity.
Unfortunately, as the same statistics testifies, despite all antitobacco campaigns, smoking among women only grows. Already now 20 % of all smokers are women. Europe on it only makes a helpless gesture …
